Drowning in books
Like seriously I way to many books and not enough space, but on the other hand I do have great books but if I could put some in storage that way I can have space in my room.. Because I only have one book self.. So that would help alot.. But other than overflowing in books everything is well here just drowning in books! I wouldn't have it any other way!

The Claming of Sleeping Beauty, by Anne Rice
Hello all! I thought I would come threw and share with you all the book that I am currently reading and that is The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty. Now most of you know that author Anne Rice is no stranger to slightly erotic topics in some of her books, example The Vampire Chronicles, however non compare or even come close to this trilogy of books which is erotic done to the 1,000 power. I have read several erotica in my life, I have even tried my hand in writing some myself. I first heard of this trilogy threw my boss, he told me about it.
Now at first I was skeptical about it I was like sure ok.. I fairy tale redone with a erotic twist... man was I wrong in my first impression of this book! This book so far is well erotic yet it is written so well that it's really good. I say this cause most of the past erotica that I have read in the past was not as well written as Rice's. This trilogy however is not for the faint of heart. If you are not used to sex being out there boldly I would recommend something else to help ease you into this trilogy. So far I am halfway threw this book and it's really good! Look for the review soon!

Candy Licker Review (Revised)
Okay so yesterday I posted a review about the book "Candy Licker" by urban author Noire. First let me say that in retrospect the book is nothing but grime and stupid smut that personally makes African-American's look bad. I understand that it is completely a work of fiction and in no way is it real. However, this book is like is like a cold I can't quite shake. I find that my idle minds wanders back to certain parts of the book. This book and I am almost certain that author Noire's other books do the shame thing, which is catering to a certain demographic.
I don't see how people enjoy these kind of books they are nothing but low grade smut that only a certain kind of person could enjoy! I mean who could possibly enjoy a book in which the main character is abused and degraded?! It's nothing more than a low grade "Lifetime" movie. I am making this the last book I read by this author.
I did go on the author's website yesterday after I posted my review to get a better look at the author, and let me say that all of this author's books follow the same formula and it's very unoriginal. Everything about the author's website was typical stereotypes, rap music the whole nine. It's a shame being of African American descent myself it made me sick. I end by saying this DO NOT waste your time by reading this low grade smut save your time and read something better!

Big books bore me..
As a blogger call me bias but large books to me are boring, I know this sounds crazy but I have the mind of a gold fish, so if I am reading a large book it has to have a good plot. I tried reading tons of large books and I have yet to finish one of them. I do have one book that I am reading that is a larger book but it is actually holding my attention. I love reading but certain books should end after a set amount of pages if the story is going no were.
It seems logical I know that I am not the only one that thinks like this. Maybe I just have really short attention spans.. Maybe not...

Manga Friday
Ok so I started to get back in manga, and I have to decided to read "Death Note". I have watched the series when it came on cartoon network and I love it. It's a very decent series I love the artwork in the books and I love the whole plot behind the series.
Plot: The "Death Note" series is about a high school student by the name of Light who finds a notebook called "Death Note" and he opens it up and it's basically it's a notebook with a bunch of humans names written in it, however who ever has there name written inside the death note will basically die.. So he decides he will try to rid the world of evil. His plan back fires when the cops get wise. This series is really good, and one of my favorites.

Violence in Books/ Book rating system (Weekly Discussion)
Let me say that I did enjoy reading this book, and I would more than likely read the next two books in the trilogy.. and I am not bashing the book. I just think that the book was a little graphic. Now given that hopefully kids would not be reading this or such other graphic books. My opinion and this may just be me and maybe a few other people who are conservative, I think that books should follow a rating system like movies and games.
It would cut down on books like this being read by such suggestive minds, maybe I am over thinking this whole graphic concept of books and the effects that they have on young minds. I sure don't think that I am the only one who has thought like this before. If books did follow such a rating system would that make people more tempted to read them? Like taking "Fifty shades of Grey" this book would be rated R or M for mature. Would that makes people like minors want to read this book? Or would imposing such a rating system on books put them on the banned books list?
I would love to here feedback on this and what do you think about the idea of a book rating system..

Seeing the Movie vs. Reading the books
That is why I think that it's important to read the book first because it will not only give you better understanding of the movie yet you will also understand the plot more fully. Maybe I am not the only one that does that but I find that it's a real big help to seeing the bigger picture of the plot..

Thought's on Steve Job's Biography
I didn't care for the story of his life, maybe it's how it was written but I really couldn't stand reading about someone who was spoiled and treated there employees like trash.. I am sorry he was a very smart man and yes I am blogging from a Mac and I own a i pod, but the man was a grade a douche.. I might continue to read biographies but I am looking at Steve in a new light...

The printed word is not dead! (Sunday Discussion)
I don't mind being called old fashioned on that note. I just feel that the printed word can still be relevant. In all my pros for the written word i admit I have broken down and bought a Nook when it came out. Even though I have a nook i find myself always going back to good ol fashioned book. Maybe I don't wanna have my expensive e reader come up missing when i am out and about. But its just something about the nostalgia about a book that I love so much. I would love to hear what you all have to say about this topic. Don't be shy let the flood gates open!!!
